Proven track record in aircraft continuity. Trusted by global airlines and asset owners.

A sustainable solution for aircraft retirement: As part of its fleet renewal programme, Transavia partnered with AELS to ensure a responsible and sustainable retirement of its Boeing 737 aircraft. Beyond aircraft disassembly, AELS supported the removal of the engines and facilitated the return of various components directly into Transavia's operation. This approach allowed valuable assets to remain in active service while offering Transavia a comprehensive and sustainable solution for its retiring aircraft.
Maximising reuse. Minimising waste: At AELS, sustainability goes beyond recycling. Our priority is to maximise the reuse of aircraft components, extending their operational life and reducing the need for newly manufactured parts. Through our expertise in aircraft disassembly, component recovery and material recycling, we helped Transavia achieve a sustainable end-of-life solution while preserving both economic and environmental value.

Flexibility beyond the final flight: When Plus Ultra prepared to retire its Airbus A340-300, operational demands required the aircraft to remain in service longer than initially agreed. AELS demonstrated its flexibility by accommodating the extended operating period, allowing Plus Ultra to continue flying without disrupting its operations. Following its final flight to Twente Airport, AELS supported the engine removal and facilitated the return of various components directly into Plus Ultra's operation as part of the agreement.
Creating value through aircraft retirement: Beyond operational support, AELS managed the aircraft disassembly, recovering valuable components for the aviation aftermarket and ensuring responsible recycling of the remaining materials. By combining commercial flexibility, technical expertise and a sustainable approach, AELS helped Plus Ultra maximise the value of its retiring Airbus A340 while supporting the airline's operational continuity.
